The team will take on Perth at Mineral Resources Park with the likes of Will Schofield, Brendon Ah Chee, Brady Grey, Jake Waterman, Fraser McInnes and Keegan Brooksby in its line-up.
While that collective shares more than 270 AFL appearances between them, the Eagles will roll out plenty of exciting fledglings against the Demons.
Recent national draftees Xavier O’Neill, Luke Foley, Bailey Williams and Jarrod Cameron have been named in the 25-man squad, as has rookie selection Harry Edwards.
Basketball converts Patrick Bines and Brodie Riach have also been given an opportunity to show their wares at the soon-to-be Eagles HQ.
At least three WAFL Eagles have been confirmed for the round one fixture by virtue of being selected in the starting 18.
Vice-captain Grey will line up in the midfield, fellow leadership group member Andrew Fisher has been named on the wing and Mitchel Curnow is likely to start the game in defence.
The Eagles could also be boosted by the inclusion of AFL emergencies Matt Allen, Jackson Nelson, Josh Smith and Daniel Venables.
West Coast will confirm its starting 22 on game day.
Bouncedown for the historic clash is 12.40pm.
