Are you eager to snap up some once-in-a-lifetime Eagles memorabilia and help the Australian bushfire disaster recovery?
Then don’t miss out on the club’s online auction, which launches here at 2.30pm today!
There are some fantastic items on offer, with all proceeds benefiting the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund.
The drawcard item is undoubtedly the boots that helped recently appointed West Coast Eagles captain Luke Shuey claim the 2018 Norm Smith Medal.
The signed, match-worn boots will also be accompanied by a football signed by the entire 2018 premiership team.
A host of players have also donated signed, match-worn boots from season 2019.
They include 2018 premiership captain Shannon Hurn, two-time Coleman medallist Josh Kennedy, superstar ruckman Nic Naitanui, four-time all-Australian Jeremy McGovern, dual John Worsfold medallist Elliot Yeo, two-time all-Australian midfielder Andrew Gaff, 2019 all-Australian forward Jack Darling and boom off-season recruit Tim Kelly.
Other notable auction items include a football signed by the club’s 2006 Premiership team; a footy signed by Adam Simpson, Shannon Hurn and Luke Shuey; and a framed and signed 2019 team poster.
The club has also made available Jack Petruccelle’s match-worn Indigenous guernsey from round 9, 2019; the indigenous guernsey Shannon Hurn wore in round 16, 2018; and two team-signed 2020 AFLW jumpers.
The online auction closes at 6pm on Tuesday, January 28.
The auction follows on from today’s announcement confirming that all ticket sales from the first women’s RAC Derby will be donated to the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund.
