Devastating floods which hit the Gascoyne region in December last year and continue to affect farms in the Upper Gascoyne and Gascoyne Junction have not changed West Coast’s plans to visit Carnarvon and Exmouth as part of the club’s 2011 Telstra AFL Community Camp.

Two groups will take flight in early February, eager to assist these communities in providing support and repairing some of the damage.

The visits will also be a rare opportunity for locals to meet their football heroes.

As well as loads of visits to local schools, hospitals, aged care facilities, businesses and sporting venues, West Coast players will also be out and about in the community and look forward to seeing you at the following public events on Thursday, February 3.
