If you have ever wanted to walk out on to Subiaco Oval, shake hands with the West Coast captain and toss the coin before a packed Eagles crowd, this may be your chance!
Round 15 will see the Eagles take on Adelaide on Saturday, July 10 in what has been dubbed ‘Dig Deep Day’, the club’s dedicated match to raise funds for Cancer Council WA. As part of West Coast’s commitment to raise funds for the Cancer Council, we are auctioning off the opportunity to toss the coin before the match with all proceeds going to help the fight against cancer.
In addition to meeting the captain and tossing the coin, the winning bidder will also receive four tickets to the match, as well as a photo to capture this once in a lifetime experience.

The Dig Deep campaign, which runs from the beginning of June and culminates with Dig Deep Day, is West Coast’s biggest fundraising initiative for the Cancer Council WA with $3 wristbands being sold from Caltex, NAB, SGIO, Toyota WA and Medibank outlets across WA for the six-week duration.
The aim for this year’s campaign is to raise $100,000 which will be greatly aided by the proceeds received from the online coin toss auction.
Cancer Council WA player ambassador Beau Waters has asked Eagles supporters to get behind the campaign and give generously.
“Cancer is something that has affected every one of us in some way and the sad reality is that one in two people will be diagnosed with the disease at some point in their lives.
“By doing things as simple as purchasing a wristband or bidding on the opportunity to toss the coin on Dig Deep Day, we can all do our bit to help,” Waters said.
West Coast have proudly been supporting the Cancer Council WA since 2005 and have raised over $500,000 for the charity during this time with all proceeds going towards funding important cancer research projects, providing education on cancer prevention and supporting people with cancer and their families.
To show your support for West Coast and the Cancer Council WA in its fight against one of our nation’s biggest killers, remember to purchase your Dig Deep wristband and get bidding to put yourself in the running to toss the coin on Dig Deep Day!
