Eagles dynamic forward Mark LeCras took some time out before training this morning to meet some special young fans and help raise awareness for children’s charity Therapy Focus and their Symphony of Sunflowers campaign.
Entering only its second year, Symphony of Sunflowers encourages everyone to plant a sunflower to support the message of inclusion of children with special needs in the community.
LeCras, who was involved in the campaign last year, said it was easy to recognise the importance of such a cause and was happy to help.
‘ It’s such a great cause, the work that Therapy Focus do in providing assistance for these kids can help make a big difference in their lives,’ he said.

While the campaign is officially launched on December 3, Symphony of Sunflower seed kits can now be purchased for $6.95 from www.symphonyofsunflowers.com.au or any Waldecks Garden Centre store with proceeds helping Therapy Focus provide specialised aid and equipment to children with intellectual disabilities.
As a not-for-profit organisation, Therapy Focus relies on contributions from the community and currently supports over 4,500 children through a comprehensive range of services.
