Howdy Rock-bloggers!
It seems like a lifetime ago that we were chatting about flying over to Melbourne to watch our boys in the Grand Final. The wait for a full-on footy match with the boys flying all over the ground has been long, but guess what? The footy’s back on Sunday!
That means all my Eagles mates will be out there in their brand new home jumpers (which I LOVE), and a few more of my new mates might make it out there too. We don’t know who exactly will be in the squad (we’ll find out on Thursday), but we might see Lewis Jetta and Jack Redden play their first games in Eagles colours. Things are really exciting at the moment!
Now, I’ve got a quick question for you. Have you been to the zoo lately? I went last week and when I was there I saw the Lions. Wow, they’re big! Anyway, one of the Lions let out a massive roar when he saw me (he must have been a footy fan too), and gee that was loud. It wasn’t as loud as the roar of 40,000 die hard Eagles fans when our team runs out onto the ground, though.
So kids, if you’re lucky enough to be coming to the ground this Sunday, be sure to bring your loudest voice. We want to tell everyone to join together in a chorus of cheers so loud that the ground shakes.
Anyway, I’ve got to run. I’ve got a training session this afternoon and I want to be as fit as possible for Sunday.
I’ll see you all then!
Love Rick
