Former Eagles tough nut Patrick McGinnity will remain at East Perth next season after signing a three-year deal with the club.
McGinnity, who played 93 games for the Eagles since being drafted in the pre-season draft in 2008, played 15 games for the Royals in 2016, taking out the inaugural Jeremy Silcock Trademark Award along with Tom Hodgson.
The 27 year-old’s father Kevin played 59 games for the Royals in the 1970’s.
