Winged Eagles Mark LeCras and Josh Kennedy are making the most of their time on the sidelines, heading down to Bunbury for the Dean Kemp Football Academy in July.

The goal-kicking pair is ensuring their footy talent doesn’t go to waste, making the trip down south to make a special appearance at the academy which has been started by Eagle great and dual premiership player Dean Kemp.

Places at the inaugural Dean Kemp Football Academy are filling fast and with school holiday enrolments closing on Saturday, July 7, there is limited time to secure a spot in the two-day program (boys and girls aged 7 - 16).

The academy will be held at Hay Park in Bunbury on July 18 and 19 (July school holidays) from 10am - 4pm, where Kemp will pass on the skills he learned as an AFL premiership player and Norm Smith medallist with West Coast.

"I want a fair bit of the academy to be skills-based, the fundamentals of football - kicking, handballing, how to keep your feet, where to run - things that kids don't always instinctively have,” Kemp said.

The cost is $225 per child, which includes lunch, equipment, merchandise and a gift. For more information on program features and price inclusions, CLICK HERE.
