West Coast will be looking to avenge their round 17 loss to Swan Districts when they take on Perth at Mineral Resources Park on Saturday.
The Eagles currently sit seventh on the ladder with a 6-9 record, while the Demons sit in fifth spot with a record of 8-7.
Former St Kilda player Clint Jones has led the Demons’ midfield this season averaging 28.1 disposals per game, while Michael Bennell has starred up forward booting 20 goals in 11 games.
The Eagles midfield will receive a much-needed boost, with Brady Grey set to return from a two-match suspension.
Bullish onballer Brendon Ah Chee, tireless runner Chris Masten, emerging forward Jarrod Cameron and astute backman Josh Rotham are also a chance to come into the final 22 if they are not held over for the AFL side’s round 21 clash with Adelaide.
Saturday’s clash will see two of the league’s premier ruckmen face off: Keegan Brooksby (28.9 hit-outs per game) and Christian Eyres (29.3).
Both ruckmen are ranked in the top-five for hit-outs this season and the match-up will no doubt be a crucial one for both teams.
West Coast and Perth met back in round one, when the Demons ran out convincing 46-point winners.
West Coast (24 points) currently sit two games outside the top-five, with Peel (24), Perth (32), and West Perth (32) all contenders for the two remaining final spots.
A win on Saturday would put the Eagles one win out of the top-five entering the final two weeks of the season.
Bouncedown is at 2.15pm at Mineral Resources Park.
