The West Coast Eagles will make at least two changes for Sunday afternoon’s battle with the Brisbane Lions at Mineral Resources Park.

The Eagles’ leading goalkicker Jess Hosking has been withdrawn with a quad strain following Tuesday’s 17-point win over Collingwood at IKON Park.

Hosking finished the game but reported tightness in the quad post-match, with an MRI confirming a strain that will likely see her sidelined for three-to-four weeks.

Emerging wing Jaide Britton will also miss Sunday’s game after developing delayed concussion symptoms and entering concussion protocols.

Britton came off for a HIA mid-game after her head made contact with the ground during a tackle but was cleared to return to the field.

Star defender Sophie McDonald has been named in the extended squad, after missing the first part of the season with concussion symptoms.

New recruit Roxy Roux has also been included after sustaining a broken hand in the final pre-season training session earlier this year.

If named in the final team, the former Docker will make her highly-anticipated debut in the blue and gold.

West Coast will be looking to record their third-straight win on Sunday against reigning premiers Brisbane, the Eagles returning to their home ground following an extended stay in Melbourne.
