The dynamic duo are set to make their return from injury alongside a host of exciting Eagles youngsters, including emerging midfield talent Xavier O’Neill and dashing defender Luke Foley.
Vardy resumes after missing two WAFL fixtures with knee/ankle injuries, while Ah Chee will lace up the boots after suffering a minor calf injury during the AFL team’s triumph over Fremantle in RAC Derby 50.
O’Neill is back in the side following a two-game absence due to hip tightness and Foley is back in the mix after tweaking his calf during the team’s round 13 win over Peel Thunder.
Tom Cole is also a chance to return should there be no late changes for the AFL side’s clash with North Melbourne.
While there are plenty of exciting inclusions for the Eagles, the WAFL side will be without a number of its most consistent players for season 2019.
Jake Waterman and Jack Petruccelle – who combined for 11 goals against West Perth a fortnight ago – have been recalled to the senior side, as has veteran defender Will Schofield.
Nippy midfielder Josh Smith is facing an extended stint on the sidelines after injuring his hamstring during the victory over the Falcons, onball bull Brady Grey is absent due to suspension and developing backman Brodie Riach will miss the contest against Subiaco.
Bouncedown at Leederville Oval is 11.40am.
The game will be broadcast live on Channel 7 from 11.30am.
