Young West Coast midfielder Emily Elkington is expected to be available for selection for the Eagles round six clash with GWS Giants on Saturday.
Elkington sustained a head knock in round three and has been working through the club’s concussion protocols.
“Emily had a concussion, and she was removed from the game against Carlton in round three,” AFLW Head of High Performance Wes Salisbury said.
“She’s proceeded through our concussion protocols and if she gets through this week she will be available to play.”
Sarah Lakay continues to recover from an aggravated pars defect in her back that has seen her sidelined since round three.
“Sarah is continuing through her rehab," Salisbury said.
“She will be a test this week pending how she goes through main training during the week.”
