Debuting duo Lauren Wakfer and Emily Elkington headline West Coast’s extended squad ahead of Sunday’s clash with Fremantle.

The two teenagers were confirmed during the week and will both don the blue and gold for the first time in their AFLW careers.

Exciting new recruit Amy Franklin has also been named on the eight-player bench to potentially make her first appearance as an Eagle against her former side.

In a big boost for the team, Shanae Davison (ACL), Kellie Gibson (ACL) and Evie Gooch (wrist) have all been included in the extended squad, after spending prolonged time on the sidelines last season with injuries.

Zoe Wakfer has been named on the interchange bench and if she is selected in the final team, will make her AFLW debut alongside her twin sister Lauren.

The final team of 21 players will be confirmed at 3pm AWST on Friday.
