The West Coast Eagles will challenge ruckman Bailey Williams’ one-match sanction for rough conduct at the AFL Tribunal.

Williams was cited by the Match Review Officer for an incident involving Essendon’s Mason Redman during the fourth quarter of Saturday’s one-point loss at Marvel Stadium.

The charge was graded as careless conduct, medium impact and high conduct, resulting in a one-match sanction.

If successful at the Tribunal, Williams will be free to play in Saturday night’s RAC Derby against Fremantle.
