Initially drafted as a midfielder (#37 in 2004) LeCras became a master of the small/medium forward role.

So much so that in round 16, 2010 he kicked 12 goals against Essendon at Etihad Stadium which remains the highest individual haul at the venue.

In the same year he won the Club Champion Award and was the leading goal-kicker in both the 2009 and 2010 seasons.

He played in the losing Grand Final against Hawthorn in 2015 but was back three years later to play in the premiership triumph over Collingwood. That proved to be his last game of senior football, announcing in the days after the club’s fourth premiership that he would retire.

LeCras is fourth on the all-time goal-kicker list in club history behind Josh Kennedy, Peter Sumich and Jack Darling, his 441 goals coming at an average of just over two.
