The West Coast Eagles have continued to manoeuvre their AFLW list following a post-season review of the club’s squad.
Experienced forward Imahra Cameron and midfielder Hayley Bullas have not been offered a contract extension while young defender Emily Bennett and forward Ashleigh Gomes are in a similar position.
Cameron and Bullas were both members of the club’s inaugural squad while Bennett played six games across the two seasons in 2022 and Gomes came onto the list to replace the injured Shanae Davison on the eve of the recently completed Season Seven.
Gomes played the last two games of the season.
“It is never easy making these decisions,” said Head of AFLW Michelle Cowan. “All four of the players have been part of what we are building with the program. It was particularly difficult with regards Hayley and Imahra as they have been with us since inception.
“I would like to thank each of them for their contributions to the club and wish them well for the future.”
Cameron played four games in Season Seven to take her total to 23 while Bullas played 30 games for the club.
