Naitanui in good nick
After a carefully managed pre-season, West Coast's star ruckman looks in fine shape
And the most buoyant sight for them was that of ruckman Nic Naitanui taking part in the drills.
Naitanui, whose workload has been carefully managed through pre-season, was an enthusiastic participant on the track and looked in fine fettle as the ball moved swiftly in a range of exercises.
He has done a lot of conditioning work to this point of the summer training and is in good shape.

Apart from the presence of the ubiquitous big man, others to shine on the track included utility player Jack Darling, hard running midfielder Chris Masten and defender Brad Sheppard.
Absentees were Sharrod Wellingham, Jacob Brennan and Will Schofield, but all are recovering and should return to full training in the short term.
Wellingham has been on light duties after a “hot spot” was detected on a shin a few weeks ago, but he is expected to resume full training next week.
Schofield suffered a low-grade hamstring strain last week and will also be eased back into training, while Brennan is making good progress from a similar problem to Wellingham.
There was almost a full complement of players on the track today, with Beau Waters and Malcolm Karpany running laps at an impressive clip, while Sam Butler’s training load has also been modified.
