Emily Bennett has returned to the side ahead of West Coast’s round four clash against the Greater Western Sydney Giants at Giants Stadium this Saturday.
Bennett missed last week’s game against the Essendon Bombers and will begin Saturday's game coming off the interchange bench.
She will be embarking on her fifth AFLW appearance since debuting in season six of the competition after being recruited in the 2021 NAB AFLW Draft.
One big inclusion comes with this week’s team selection in the debut of speedy midfielder Jaide Britton.
Britton will make her AFLW debut after a breakout WAFL season for Peel Thunder combined with impressive work with the wider training squad.
After working tirelessly off field Britton believes she is physically and technically ready for AFLW level competition stating she’s left no stone unturned with her preparation.
Following both players inclusion, a number of omissions have been made to the squad including midfielders Hayley Bullas and Krstel Petrevski who will fly to Sydney on the emergency list.
Isabella Simmons has also been a late inclusion in the squad as defender Beth Schilling was pulled late due to injury.
