The extraordinary support of the West Coast Eagles membership has again been underpinned with the club topping the AFL membership table for the third year in succession.

And for the third year in a row the Eagles have recorded a six-figure tally, this time reporting an official member base of 102,897 to the AFL.

This total was achieved despite lingering doubts surrounding the impact of COVID-19 and the capacity at Optus Stadium initially capped at 50 percent capacity on the eve of the season.

“As a club we continue to be humbled by the committed support from our membership base,” said Trevor Nisbett, Chief Executive Officer today.

“To achieve six figure membership for the third year in succession and against the backdrop of so much uncertainty leading into the year really is quite remarkable.

“We do not take that support for granted and never will. They are the people who inspire us and are a large motivating force in the drive to bounce back as quickly as possible.

“I would like to thank each of those 102,897 members for their unwavering support.”
