Revo Fitness Stadium played host to the WAFLW grand final on Saturday, with Claremont taking out the win by eight points in a nail-biting game.

Undefeated East Fremantle ensured a competitive game trailing behind by only one point at the end of the first term.

Claremont were able to maintain their endurance in the final term giving them a seven-point lead in the final minutes of the game, before running out 7.4 (46) to 6.1 (38) winners. 

Versatile midfielder Jasmin Stewart was named the Lou Knitter Medallist as she finished on 29 disposals and eight tackles.

Leading goalkicker for the match was captain Rachel Ortlepp, who kicked three early goals for Claremont.

New Eagles draftee Mikayla Western made a strong impact on field, kicking a goal and racking up 19 disposals, while West Coast staff member Kate Orme capped an outstanding season with 19 touches and six inside 50s.

Recently signed Eagles and Claremont products Ella Smith and Sasha Goranova watched on and joined in the emotional celebrations on field.

The game beforehand saw Claremont also claim the reserves win at home against East Fremantle 3.5 (23) to 2.2 (14).

Meanwhile, East Fremantle became Rogers Cup premiers with a 10-goal win against Peel 12.6 (78) to 2.5 (17).
