The 2022 WAFLW season came to a close last night at Crown Perth, with a pair of West Coast AFLW recruits featuring prominently.
Exciting forward Kate Bartlett (pictured centre above) won the Joanne Higgins Leading Goal Kicker Award for the second year running after kicking a record-breaking 39 goals for Peel Thunder.
Bartlett also finished seventh with 10 votes in the 2022 WAFLW Dhara Kerr Fairest and Best.
Also getting her name on the leader board was versatile Claremont midfielder Ella Smith, who took out third place with 14 votes.
Bartlett and Smith were recently offered priority signings with the Eagles alongside energetic Claremont midfielder Sasha Goranova.
Topping the leader board was East Fremantle Football Club veteran Sharon Wong claiming the 2022 Dhara Kerr Medal.
Claremont Football Club will go head-to-head with undefeated East Fremantle in the 2022 WAFLW Grand Final this Saturday 2nd July at Revo Fitness Stadium.
