West Coast has secured inaugural vice-captain Dana Hooker with the exciting midfielder committing to remain in the blue and gold for the upcoming season.
As one of the Eagles' most experienced campaigners - with 38 games and six seasons under her belt - Hooker is a true leader and will continue her decorated career in the cauldron this year.
After missing all but round one in 2021 due to a household injury, Hooker was back to her best last season, averaging 16.2 disposals, 3.7 clearances and 3.3 tackles in the Eagles' engine room.
The hard running onballer also averaged 287.1 metres gained and 9.3 contested possessions per match, coming second to only skipper Emma Swanson.
A dual All Australian and West Coast's inaugural Club Champion, Hooker has will continue to impart her knowledge to the Eagles' younger cohort, and remains a strong voice and influence in the senior squad.
Senior coach Michael Prior is pleased with the announcement.
"It's going to be great to have 'Hooks' with us for the upcoming season, she's a real veteran of the game and has so much experience," he said.
"A dual All Australian and Eagles Club Champion, we can't wait to see her continue her fine form next season.
"Alongside captain 'Swanny,' who also re-signed today, the pair will bring so much knowledge to the group and we're really excited at that prospect."
