West Coast has traded for premiership Crow Jess Sedunary and received another high draft pick in a deal with Adelaide for defender Amber Ward - who is returning home to South Australia - and pacey winger Niamh Kelly.

West Coast now holds eight of the first 10 picks in the West Australian draft and look set to bring in some exciting talent for the season ahead.

Over the past two seasons, the Eagles' first draft picks have included Bella Lewis and Charlie Thomas, who have both played every match since their respective round one debuts.

Adding some experience to the youthful mix, Sedunary will be a valuable addition to the Eagles' list, particularly considering her premiership experience in 2017.

The classy midfielder was part of the inaugural AFLW flag-winning team alongside Kellie Gibson, with the pair to be reunited in coming weeks at the Eagles' nest.

West Coast coach Michael Prior thanked Ward and Kelly for their service to the club and wished them the best of luck in their future endeavours.

"It's been great to have Niamh and 'Wardy' as a part of this club, they've both made extremely valuable contributions to the team," Prior said.

"We wish them all the best with their next stage, and know 'Wardy' is looking forward to being reunited with family in Adelaide.

"Their service to West Coast both on and off the field has been terrific and we're grateful for the efforts they've put in across their time at the club.

"They've been valued members and know they've made some excellent friendships along the way."
