West Coast forward Liam Ryan has accepted a one-match sanction for rough conduct while star defender Jeremy McGovern has copped a fine for misconduct in Sunday’s loss to Melbourne.
Ryan was charged with engaging in rough conduct against Demons defender Jake Bowey during the third quarter.
The incident was assessed as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact, and classified as a one-match sanction as a first offence.
Ryan accepted with an early guilty plea, opting not to challenge at the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday.
McGovern’s misconduct charge against Melbourne onballer Jack Viney during the second term was classified as a $1500 fine for a first offence, but he accepted a $1000 sanction with an early guilty plea.
