The West Coast Eagles are set to host the Western Bulldogs in a blockbuster Saturday night clash at Optus Stadium late next month after the AFL locked in the fixture for Sir Doug Nicholls Round, which will be held across rounds 10 and 11.

After travelling to face Greater Western Sydney in round 10 at Giants Stadium for a 2.10pm AEST bouncedown (12.10pm AWST) on Sunday, May 22 the Eagles will return home to take on last year’s beaten Grand Finalists six days later.

The Bulldogs clash will be a 5.25pm bouncedown in Perth on Saturday, May 28.

It will continue a bumper home fixture in the first half of the year for the Eagles, who host Sydney this Friday night in primetime, followed by another Friday night meeting with Richmond at Optus in round seven.

Reigning premier Melbourne then travels west in round nine for a Sunday afternoon showdown, before the Dogs come to town.

The remainder of the fixture after the Bulldogs clash is yet to be locked in, except for the fixtured opponents.
