The AFL has today approved an application for the West Coast Eagles to place senior list players Tom Cole and Campbell Chesser on the inactive list.
Cole, a member of the 2018 premiership team, and Chesser, the club’s first selection in the 2021 National Draft, both suffered serious ankle injuries in the last fortnight and will be out of action for several months.
The club will now work through its options in terms of covering the absence of those players, with the Supplemental Selection Period concluding tomorrow.
