Forward Shanae Davison will play her first game for West Coast this season in Tuesday night’s clash against St Kilda, amid four changes to the side which lost a heartbreaker to Geelong.

Davison has overcome a minor injury setback following a strong pre-season, while defender Amber Ward, Kellie Gibson and Courtney Rowley have exited the AFL’s Health and Safety Protocols.

Unfortunately, midfielder Aisling McCarthy will be unable to play out the season after fracturing her wrist in last Friday’s loss to Geelong.

McCarthy went down early in the first quarter and did not return to play, with the luckless Irish star set to be sidelined for the remainder of the season in a significant blow to the Eagles’ midfield.

Defenders Courtney Guard and Tayla Bresland have been omitted from the side, as well as forward Melissa Caulfield.

Pacey Irishwoman Niamh Kelly will start on the wing, with West Coast’s number one draft pick Charlie Thomas named in the forward line alongside Aimee Schmidt and Parris Laurie.

In the backline, Evie Gooch returns after a suspension received in the round three clash against Adelaide, and will line-up alongside youngster Sophie McDonald who will play a deep defensive role.
