West Coast Eagles spearhead Josh Kennedy says his midfielders are the ones to thank for his superb record against the Gold Coast Suns.

Kennedy has enjoyed playing against the Suns kicking 24 goals in four games, including 15 in two outings in 2014.

But Kennedy told 6PR Breakfast he’s just the finisher and that it’s the work up the field that deserves the credit.

“A lot of that is to do with our midfielders and the way they get on top,” he said.

“Now it’s another year, it’s going to be another good test this week.

“They’ve got some handy inclusions this week, so it’s going to be another test.”
